main text Holidays are for fun and relaxation. Please be aware though that accidents can happen and it is important to have good holiday insurance cover. Also make sure you are adequately covered with sun cream and sun hats, the sun in the Algarve is very strong ALL year. Sun burn and sun stroke will ruin your holiday. Be sensible about your belongings, keep them with you at all times and do not carry around large amounts of currency. Although crime here is low, things can go wrong and there is a safe in each apartment. I don't mean to be a killjoy, but a little thought really does ensure you have a good holiday. summary end, to top menu. ·

Rental terms and conditions for your holiday

We want you to enjoy your stay, and hope that you will come back again. These terms and conditions are basic common sense and should not detract from the enjoyment of your holiday. Please ask if you are unsure of anything, we are here to help you.

  • The apartments are available for you at a time between 14:00 and 18:00 on the day of arrival (agreed with you) until 10:00 on the day of departure
  • The apartments must be kept in a clean and tidy condition
  • Access into the apartment must be allowed for 2 days a week in the summer and one day a week during the winter to let us change sheets and towels
  • Any damage or breakages must be reported to us as soon as it occurs. We will ask for payment for any damage or breakages that occur that are not due to fair wear and tear
  • No pets or animals are allowed to stay in the apartments unless by written prior approval
  • No item must be dropped or thrown from the verandas
  • We will not be held liable for any loss or damage to you or your property during your stay
  • Acceptable levels of noise and behaviour are required whilst you are within the Mar e Serra estate
  • No barbecues or fires are allowed on any of the verandas
  • We reserves the right to ask for a refundable deposit, not exceeding €200, on arrival. The deposit, less any amounts due for breakage will be returned when you leave
  • Smoking is only allowed on the verandas of the apartments. Cigarette ends and ash must not be thrown or dropped from the verandas, or left on the veranda floor
  • Rubbish bins are provided within a close distance of the building. Your rubbish must be taken there at regular intervals
  • Only the numbers of people who are named and confirmed on the booking agreement are allowed to use the holiday accommodation
  • Every effort is made to ensure that all facilties offered are available to you, but no guarantees are offered. If a facilities is unavailable, we will try to rectify this immediately
  • If you do not comply with these terms, you effectively cancel your booking and no refunds will be given
  • We reserve the right to change the apartment specification, price and these terms at any time if it is necessary to do so
